OCALA, Fla. — The Florida Department of Corrections’ (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announced the arrest of Correctional Officer Angel Dominguez. Dominguez is charged with one count of conspiracy to introduce contraband into a correctional institution and one count unlawful use of a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony.
Following the arrest Dominguez was transported the Marion County Jail. The OIG acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by State Attorney Brad King of the 5th Judicial Circuit of Florida and Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods.
