Contract Employee Arrested at Charlotte Correctional Institution

PUNTA GORDA, Fla – The Florida Department of Corrections’ (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announced the arrest of Contract Teacher Doris Vidrine. Vidrine is charged with introduction of contraband and commercial bribery.

Following the arrest, Vidrine was transported to the Charlotte County Jail. The OIG acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office and State Attorney Stephen Russell of the 20th Judicial Circuit.
