Correctional Staff Arrested Following OIG Investigation

TRENTON, Fla. – The Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) Office of Inspector General (OIG) arrested Food Service Worker Michelle Morris yesterday following an OIG criminal investigation. Morris has been charged with unlawful compensation.

Following the arrest, Morris was transported to the Gilchrist County Jail. The Florida Department of Corrections Office of Inspector General acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by the Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office and the State Attorney’s Office in the 8th Judicial Circuit.
