Taylor County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce it has received a $27,000 grant from the Florida Department of Transportation, to help address speeding and aggressive driving.

The supplemental funding will pay for high visibility and saturation patrols in which deputies will focus on violations concerning speeding and aggressive driving. Additionally, deputies will be concentrating on educating the public about traffic laws during enforcement activities to ensure the safety of everyone on the road. Violations may result in warnings or citations depending on the circumstances.
