Ryan Fizzano, 21, of Tamarac, CLAIMS SHARE OF $4.25 MILLION FLORIDA LOTTO® JACKPOT

TALLAHASSEE -The Florida Lottery announces that Ryan Fizzano, 21, of Tamarac, claimed his $2.125 million share of the $4.25 million FLORIDA LOTTO® jackpot from the drawing held on May 6, 2020, using a secured drop box located at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

Fizzano chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,792,420.10. He purchased the jackpot-winning FLORIDA LOTTO Quick Pick ticket from Winn-Dixie, located at 901 North Nob Hill Road in Plantation. The retailer will receive a bonus commission of $25,000 for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

The next FLORIDA LOTTO drawing will be held Saturday, July 18, 2020, at 11:15 p.m. ET, with a $10 million jackpot. FLORIDA LOTTO drawings are broadcast on 17 carrier stations throughout the state. Drawings are also available for viewing on the Florida Lottery website and on the Lottery’s YouTube channel. Winning numbers are available on the Lottery website, at retailers statewide and by phone at (850) 921-PLAY.

To help protect employees and players during the COVID-19 outbreak, Florida Lottery Headquarters and district offices remain closed to the public until further notice. Players who have winning tickets are encouraged to utilize the Lottery’s secured drop box located at each district office or mail tickets to Florida Lottery Headquarters or their nearest district office. All claim deadlines have been extended, giving players the option to hold on to winning tickets and wait to claim any prizes until Lottery offices reopen to the public.
