Lafayette County, Fla. – The Mayo Correctional Institution K-9 team has been recognized as the winner of the Florida Department of Corrections Region II K-9 competition.
The Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office offered their congratulations to the agency on their Facebook page. Over the last week, correctional institutions across FDC’s Region II competed in the rigorous competition.
“All the teams participating pushed themselves to the limits and endured the elements,” SCSO wrote.
