Taylor County Sheriff’s Office:
Increasing patrol efforts to address citizen complaints of speeding, distracted or aggressive driving, and roadway littering often lead to the discovery of other criminal activities.
This week while deputies conducted traffic enforcement on CR 14, between Shady Grove and Luther Wilson Road, they observed a Gold Ford Ranger pickup traveling above the posted limit. A traffic stop was conducted by Inv Thomas Gunter who discovered a passenger to be in possession of methamphetamine.
John Walter Pippin III of Madison Fl was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
