TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Lottery announces that Kenneth Sheppard, 42, of Sanford, claimed the first $500,000 top prize from the CASH MONEY Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He purchased his winning ticket from Circle K, located at 1920 French Avenue in Sanford.
The $5 game, CASH MONEY, features more than $58 million in total cash prizes, including eight top prizes of $500,000. The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-4.07.
Scratch-Offs are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, generating more than $871 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in FY 2017-18, and comprising approximately 69 percent of ticket sales.
