TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Lottery announces that Juan Alonso Gonzalez, 53, of Hialeah, claimed a $500,000 top prize from the $500,000 SPECTACULAR Scratch-Off game. He purchased his winning ticket from Krystal’s Liquors, located at 7105 West 12th Avenue #1 in Hialeah.
The $5 game, $500,000 SPECTACULAR, launched in August 2019 and offers more than $48.7 million in prizes, including six top prizes of $500,000. The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-4.03.
Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, comprising approximately 69 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $965 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2018-19.
