This week, deputies responded to 1219 River’s Bend Way, Steinhatchee for an apparent drug overdose. The caller stated a male was unresponsive and heroin may have been involved. The victim was airlifted to an area hospital. Shortly after, a female at the residence began to have a medical related issue and was also transported to a local hospital.
A search warrant was executed at the residence by Captain Robert Hooker, Lt. Cash, Inv. Deeson, and Inv. Vinson. Guns, evidence of drugs, and paraphernalia were located and seized. Charges are pending for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Paraphernalia.
