Florida Correctional Officers Arrested
PERRY, FlaThe Florida Department of Corrections’ (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announced the arrests of correctional officer Steven Hall, correctional officer Kenneth Hightower and sergeant Richard Tuten. Hightower is charged with battery of an inmate, and Hall and Tuten are charged with battery of an inmate and falsifying reports.
Following the arrests, the officers were transported to the Taylor County Jail. The OIG acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office, the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office and State Attorney Jeff Siegmeister of the 3rd Judicial Circuit of Florida.
