BUSHNELL, Fla. — The Florida Department of Corrections’ (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announced the arrest of Correctional Officer Cymande Jacobs-Adewusi. Jacobs-Adewusi is charged with unlawful compensation.
Following the arrest Jacobs-Adewusi was transported the Sumter County Jail. The OIG acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff William Farmer Jr. and State Attorney Brian King of the 5th Judicial Circuit of Florida.
