CHIPLEY, Fla. — The Florida Department of Corrections’ (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announced the arrest of Correctional Officer Kallie Powell. Powell is charged with five counts of introduction of contraband and three counts of unlawful use of a two-way communications device.
Following the arrest Powell was transported the Washington County Jail. The OIG acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by State Attorney Glenn Hess of the 14th Judicial Circuit of Florida and Washington County Sheriff Kevin Crews.
