TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement arrested Eric Paul Tornow, 20, of 2132 Ted Hines Drive, Tallahassee on a charge of a written threat to kill or do bodily harm.

On September 6, 2019, FDLE was contacted by the Florida Highway Patrol to investigate a bomb threat that was sent to FHP’s recruitment account on Instagram. The threat, sent September 5, stated an intent to bomb Tallahassee. It was one of several messages from the same account that were sent beginning August 29.
The investigation revealed Tornow had sent the bomb threat, using a false identity to communicate multiple complaints as well as the threat.
