CARRABELLE, Fla. – On July 25, an inmate assaulted correctional officers at Franklin Correctional Institution.
Inmate Ethell Johnson (U16092) assaulted the officers at approximately 7:30 a.m. Inmate Johnson became combative, biting and kicking the officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries. Inmate Johnson will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
CHIPLEY, Fla. – On July 26, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Northwest Florida Reception Center Annex.
Inmate Emmanuel Colzie (X68230) assaulted the officer at approximately 12:28 a.m. Inmate Colzie struck the officer in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Colzie will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
ORLANDO, Fla. – On July 27, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Central Florida Reception Center.
Inmate Bradley Harriford (R70313) assaulted the officer at approximately 7:45 p.m. Inmate Harriford head butted the officer in the chest. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Inmate Harriford will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
RAIFORD, Fla. – On July 27, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Union Correctional Institution.
Inmate Carl Telusma (Y56467) assaulted the officer at approximately 9:05 a.m. Inmate Telusma kicked the officer in the leg. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Medical staff examined the officer and noted minor injuries. Inmate Telusma will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
MILTON, Fla. – On July 28, an inmate assaulted correctional officers at Santa Rosa Correctional Institution.
Inmate Grier McDonald (T48892) assaulted the officers at approximately 7:35 a.m. Inmate McDonald became combative, spitting on and head-butting the officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries. Inmate McDonald will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
FLORIDA CITY, Fla. – On July 28, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Dade Correctional Institution.
Inmate Marc Miller (S04163) assaulted the officer at approximately 11:15 a.m. Inmate Miller struck the officer in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Inmate Miller will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
LIVE OAK, Fla. – On July 28, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Suwannee Correctional Institution.
Inmate Marquez Andrews (128624) assaulted the officer at approximately 12:05 p.m. Inmate Andrews bit the officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

CLERMONT, Fla. – On July 30, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Lake Correctional Institution.
Inmate Christopher Lewis (V23515) assaulted the officer at approximately 9:27 p.m. Inmate Lewis bit the officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Inmate Walter Christian (J36935) assaulted the officer at approximately 10:53 p.m. Inmate Christian kicked the officer in the leg. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
