Diane Quigley, (St. Augustine), CELEBRATES HER BIRTHDAY BY WINNING THE $1,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE SCRATCH-OFF GAME

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Lottery announces that Diane Quigley, of St. Augustine, claimed a top prize in the $1,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee, on her 66th birthday! She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $810,000.00.

Quigley purchased her winning ticket from Circle K, located at 4205 U.S. 1 South in St. Augustine. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $2 game, $1,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE, launched in July 2019 and has more than 9.8 million winning tickets, including eight top prizes of $1,000 a week for life. The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-4.43.

Scratch-Offs are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, generating more than $871 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in FY 2017-18, and comprising approximately 69 percent of ticket sales.
