Crimes Solved by MCSO! Cody Lee is Arrested AGAIN!!

News Release (December 5, 2018)

Major David Harper of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office reports that as a result of the continued investigation into the recent burglaries and thefts in the Greenville community, MCSO investigators rearrested Cody Dwayne Lee on Friday November 30, 2018, charging him with another burglary as Lee was preparing to post bond.

Lee was first arrested on Thursday, November 29, 2018 after investigators located Lee in the Greenville Recreation Park and confirmed that he had just committed a burglary to a residence located on Grand Street. Lee posted a bond and was released from the Madison County Jail on Saturday December 1st.

On Tuesday, December 4, 2018, Investigators arrested Lee for the third time in six days charging him with three additional burglaries and grand thefts.

MCSO investigators also arrested James Emery Spradley on Tuesday December 4, 2018 after developing probable cause and obtaining an arrest warrant for his involvement in the thefts. Spradley has been charged with Dealing in Stolen Property – Organized.

Investigators have successfully recovered several of the items reported stolen from the burglaries and continue to aggressively investigate these cases. Additional arrests are expected.
