Correctional Officer Arrested Following OIG Investigation

LIVE OAK, Fla. – The Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) Office of Inspector General (OIG) arrested Correctional Officer David Neveils last Friday following an OIG criminal investigation. Neveils has been charged with introduction of contraband, unlawful compensation and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.

Following the arrest, Neveils was transported to the Suwannee County Jail. The Florida Department of Corrections Office of Inspector General acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office and the State Attorney’s Office in the 3rd Judicial Circuit.
