On August 4th,2017, a Columbia County Sheriff’s Office 2017 Ford Explorer marked patrol vehicle was burglarized at Windsong Apartment Complex in Lake City, Florida. The suspect(s) shattered the back window and stole an Anderson AR-15 .223 rifle, a black soft rifle case, a 30 round magazine, a green tactical vest, and a black tactical vest.
On August 8th, 2017 another 2017 Ford Explorer Sheriff’s Office marked patrol vehicle was burglarized in the area of Country Club Road in Lake City, Florida. In that burglary, the suspect(s) stole an Anderson AR-15 .223 rifle, a camouflage woodland backpack, an Italian bayonet, .40 caliber ammunition, and .223 caliber ammunition.
