TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Lottery announces that Bruce Amidon, 70, of Tamarac, claimed a $5 million MEGA MILLIONS® prize from the drawing held on March 10, 2020. The winning ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers, but did not match the Mega Ball.
Amidon purchased his winning ticket at Primetime Food Store, located at 501 Commonwealth Avenue Southwest in Polk City. The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus commission for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
Since joining MEGA MILLIONS in 2013, the game has generated more than $564 million for education, and has awarded more than $682.3 million in prizes to 51.2 million players. The next MEGA MILLIONS drawing will be held tonight, March 20, at 11:00 p.m. ET with an estimated $96 million jackpot.
