From the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office:
Due to the combined efforts of Taylor County Sheriff’s Office and Perry Police Department, two burglary suspects were arrested today, ending a crime spree that has spanned several weeks.
A number of these burglaries occurred in the Industrial Drive area.
Arrested and charged late today were Linson Cody Williams (age 20) and Simeon Jairus Levi Gross (age 18).
When deputies arrived at the residence to speak with these two, Simeon Gross fled through a window. PPD K-9 assisted and tracked Gross who was quickly apprehended.
Officers who diligently worked on this investigation include Taylor County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Jesse Young, Deputy Kyle Wimberley, Deputy Anthony Fenton, Investigator Gina Deeson, Investigator Bryan Hayden, Deputy Jordan Thigpen, Perry Police Department Officer Jamin Cephus, and PPD K-9 Officer Ricky Dice.
