Shoes work better when properly tied.

It’s not your fault, but you probably tie your shoe wrong.  It was most likely one of your parents, or a sibling, who taught you to perform this simple task incorrectly.  And, if you have ever taught a child how to tie their shoes, you probably taught them the improper way, also.  (It’s not too late to call them up and apologize!)

Terry Moore, the Director of the Radius Foundation, demonstrates in this Ted Talk video how to properly tie shoelaces.  The video is only about three minutes long; not too much to invest into correcting a life-long mistake.
