TALLAHASSEE LOTTERY RETAILER TERMINATED; STORE CLERK ARRESTED

TALLAHASSEE – This week, agents with the Florida Lottery’s Division of Security concluded an investigation that led to the termination of a Florida Lottery retailer and the arrest of a Florida Lottery retail clerk in Tallahassee.

Hutendra Bahadur Shahi, a store clerk at Stop N Shop, located at 980 West Brevard Street in Tallahassee, was arrested and charged with one count of Grand Theft (violation of section 812.014 ? 2(a)1, Florida Statutes), one count of Organized Scheme to Defraud (violation of section 817.034.4(a)1, Florida Statutes), and one count of Tampering with Physical Evidence (violation of section 918.13, Florida Statutes).
