The Madison Police Department, with assistance from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, is currently investigating a shooting that took place at a residence on Mandenia Street.
Victims of the shooting arrived at the hospital and as a precautionary measure Lockdowns have been initiated in the immediate area surrounding the the Madison County Memorial Hospital to include James Madison High School, NFCC and daycares.
There is NO ACTIVE SHOOTER. This is precautionary measure during the early stages of this investigation. As soon as the lockdown is lifted the public will be made aware. Again there is NO ACTIVE SHOOTER.
