TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Lottery announces that Paul Labbe, 59, of Cape Coral, claimed a $500,000 top prize from the new $500,000 SPECTACULAR Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He purchased his winning ticket from Publix, located at 3015 Pine Island Road Southwest in Cape Coral.
The $5 game, $500,000 SPECTACULAR, launched in August and offers more than $48.7 million in prizes, including six top prizes of $500,000. The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-4.03.
Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, comprising approximately 69 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $871 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2017-18.
