Street Repairs/Road Closure: MADISON, FL

Repairs to a portion of Northeast Duval Avenue between CVS and State Road 145 (Colin Kelley Highway) will begin Wednesday morning, June 8, and are anticipated to last up to two days. Northeast Duval Avenue will be blocked at Highway 90. Tractor- trailers wanting to proceed north will need to utilize Range Avenue to access State Road 145 (Colin Kelly Highway, same as Northeast Livingston Street inside city limits).
Message boards on major incoming roads and other signage will alert motorists to detours that will include the use of Range Avenue.
For safety reasons, parallel parking on the east side of Range Avenue between Marion Street and U.S. Highway 90 (Base Street) will be temporarily prohibited to allow more space for tractor-trailer traffic.
Additionally, several diagonal parking spaces on the west side of Range Avenue at its intersection with U.S. 90 will be prohibited for safety reasons as well.
