Monticello – Correctional Staff Arrested Following OIG Investigation

MONTICELLO, Fla. – Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) arrested former Vocational Instructor Lorimar Blitch last week following an OIG criminal investigation. Blitch has been charged with introduction of contraband and official misconduct.

Following the arrest, Blitch was transported to the Jefferson County Jail. The Florida Department of Corrections Office of Inspector General acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by the City of Monticello Police Department and the State Attorney’s Office in the 2nd Judicial Circuit.
