TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Lottery announces that Jose Hernandez, 33, of Kissimmee, claimed a $1 million top prize in the FLORIDA 20X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $770,000.00.

Hernandez purchased his winning ticket from 7-Eleven, located at 902 South Orange Avenue in Orlando. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $5 game, FLORIDA 20X THE CASH, launched in January, and features 14 top prizes of $1 million, and more than $110 million in cash prizes. The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-4.22.

Scratch-Offs are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, generating more than $871 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in FY 2017-18, and comprising approximately 69 percent of ticket sales.
