Judy Caron, (74, PINELLAS PARK), WINS $2 MILLION PLAYING THE $10 GOLD RUSH CLASSIC SCRATCH-OFF GAME

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Lottery announces that Judy Caron, 74, of Pinellas Park, claimed a $2 million top prize from the $10 GOLD RUSH CLASSIC Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,405,000.00.

Caron purchased her winning ticket from Circle K, located at 6661 54th Avenue North in St. Petersburg. The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $10 game $2,000,000 GOLD RUSH CLASSIC launched in January 2019 and offers more than $246.8 million in prizes, including ten top prizes of $2 million. The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-3.49.

Scratch-Offs are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, generating more than $871 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in FY 2017-18, and comprising approximately 69 percent of ticket sales.
