TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Lottery announces that Juan Santana, 45, of Palm Bay, claimed a $500 a week top prize from the $500 A WEEK FOR LIFE Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
Santana chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $405,000.00. He purchased his winning ticket from Circle K, located at 900 Malabar Road Southwest in Palm Bay.
The $500 A WEEK FOR LIFE Scratch-Off game launched in July and features more than $19 million in total cash prizes. Overall odds of winning are one-in-4.97.
Scratch-Offs are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, generating more than $871 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in FY 2017-18, and comprising approximately 69 percent of ticket sales.
