FORT WHITE, Fla. – Ichetucknee Springs State Park will offer tube rentals beginning May 19. Providing tube rentals within the park will allow the Florida Park Service to maintain a high quality of service while also providing a more convenient tubing experience for visitors.
“This is a service that many of our visitors have asked for over the years,” said Clif Maxwell, bureau chief of Florida State Parks District Two. “We are excited to make it easier than ever before to enjoy a day tubing down the Ichetucknee.”
The park’s concessionaire will begin renting tubes in addition to the many recreational equipment rentals already offered, including kayaks, canoes and paddleboards. Visitors can still bring their own tubes or rent tubes from other companies located outside the park.
Visitors at the park can enjoy tubing, picnicking, snorkeling, paddling, swimming, hiking and wildlife viewing among the many available recreational opportunities. For more information about tube rentals at the park, please call Paddling Adventures at
