Former Inmate Arrested for Introduction of Contraband

CHIPLEY, Fla. – The Florida Department of Corrections’ (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announced the arrest of former inmate Nicholas Pierce. Pierce is charged with felony introduction of contraband into a state correctional institution.

Following the arrest, Pierce was transported to the Bay County Jail. The OIG acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office and the State Attorney’s Office in the 14th Judicial Circuit.
