Former Correctional Officer Lexen Barrington Arrested on 3 Charges

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Florida Department of Corrections’ (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announced the arrest of former Correctional Officer Lexen Barrington. Barrington is charged with six counts of unlawful compensation or reward for official behavior, unlawful use of a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony offense, and official misconduct.

Barrington was arrested in Broward County. The OIG acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided Aramis D. Ayala, State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit, Orange County Sheriff John W. Mina and Broward County Sheriff Gregory Tony.
