CRESTVIEW, Fla. — The Florida Department of Corrections’ (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announced today the arrest of former Senior Probation Officer Rae Nicole Sweatt. Sweatt is charged with one count of racketeering, 14 counts of official misconduct, two counts of tampering with a witness, 14 counts of forgery, 14 counts of uttering a forged instrument and 14 counts of false official statements.
Following the arrest, Sweatt was transported to the Okaloosa County Jail. The OIG acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by State Attorney William “Bill” Eddins of the 1st Judicial Circuit of Florida, Florida Highway Patrol and Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
