Florida Correctional Officer Shanika Joseph Arrested
LAKE CITY, Fla – The Florida Department of Corrections’ (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announced the arrest of Officer Shanika Joseph. Joseph is charged with introduction of contraband, drug trafficking, and possession of controlled substances.
Following the arrest, Joseph was transported to the Suwannee County Jail. The OIG acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office and State Attorney Jeff Siegmeister of the Third Judicial Circuit.
