Florida Correctional Officer Arrested

RAIFORD, Fla. — The Florida Department of Corrections’ (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announced the arrest of Correctional Officer Misty Clemmons. Clemmons is charged with 11 counts of unlawful use of a two-way communication device, introduction or possession of certain articles unlawful and 12 counts of introduction or possession of certain articles unlawful written or recorded communication or currency.

Following the arrest, Clemmons was transported to the Bradford County Jail. The OIG acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by the Bradford County Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff Gordon Smith and 8th Judicial Circuit Prosecutor Luis Bustamante.
