Florida Correctional Officer Arrested 

GRACEVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Department of Corrections’ (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announced the arrest of Correctional Officer Holly Haessig. Haessig is charged with unlawful compensation as a public servant, introduction of contraband into a correctional institution, interference with prisoners and unlawful use of a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony.

Following the arrest, Haessig was transported to the Jackson County Jail. The OIG acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by Jackson County Sheriff Lou Roberts and State Attorney Glenn Hess of the 14th Judicial Circuit of Florida.
