Florida Correctional Officer Arrested
SNEADS, Fla. — The Florida Department of Corrections’ (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announced the arrest of Correctional Officer Cierra Balcom. Balcom is charged with introduction of contraband and possession of synthetic marijuana.
Following the arrest, Balcom was transported to the Jackson County Jail. The OIG acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by Glenn Hess, State Attorney of the 14th Judicial Circuit of Florida, and the Jackson County Sherriff’s Office.
