FDLE seeks public’s help in Starbucks burglaries investigation

TAMPA, Fla. – Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement are investigating a rash of burglaries at Starbucks locations throughout the state with the latest incident taking place in the Tampa area last week. Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is assisting FDLE with an appeal to the public for information.

Agents believe the suspects entered the front entrance of the Starbucks on Parkedge Drive after hours on Thursday, June 6th, and broke into the store’s safe. The front lock was manipulated to gain access to the store. During the burglary, the suspects dismantled part of the security camera system. The method they used was similar to burglaries at other Starbucks reported to law enforcement.
