ORLANDO, Fla. – FDLE’s Cybercrime Task Force in Orlando today arrested Darrin Williams, 53, of 531 N. Clayton St., Mt. Dora, on five counts of child pornography possession.

Williams is a volleyball coach at Tavares High School and also coaches for private club teams. Agents do not believe there are any victims related to his coaching, but if you have information related to a potential victim, please call FDLE’s Orlando office at (407) 245-0888.

Agents received a tip that a device from Williams’ residential Internet was being used to access and view images that appeared to be child pornography. Investigators obtained a search warrant for the residence and the subsequent investigation determined the computer belonged to Williams. During an on-scene examination of digital devices, agents found evidence of child pornography and seized the devices for further analysis.

Williams was taken to the Lake County Jail on a no-bond status. The State Attorney’s Office, 5th Judicial Circuit, will prosecute the case.
