RAIFORD, FlaThe Florida Department of Corrections’ (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announced today the arrest of Officer Jeremy Bennett. Bennett is charged with malicious battery of an inmate, official misconduct as a public servant and falsifying a record/untruthful report.
Following the arrest, Bennett was transported to the Bradford County Jail. The OIG acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by Bradford County Sheriff Gordon Smith and State Attorney William Cervone of the 8th Judicial Circuit.
