ARCADIA, Fla. — The Florida Department of Corrections’ (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announced the arrest of citizen volunteer Sonia Morales. Morales is charged with introduction of contraband.
Following the arrest Morales was transported to the DeSoto County Jail. The OIG acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by the alert staff of DeSoto Correctional Institution Annex and the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office.
