FDC Assault Advisories | November 20 – November 26, 2018
This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty.
Cross City Correctional Institution: On November 20, inmate Corey Davis (C06346) assaulted an officer at approximately 9:40 p.m. Inmate Davis charged at the officer and shoved them to the ground. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Davis will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
Martin Correctional Institution: On November 20, inmate Bruce Brock (996350) assaulted an officer at approximately 2:20 p.m. Inmate Brock struck the officer in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Brock will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
South Florida Reception Center: On November 20, inmate Cadet Alexandre (L78847) assaulted an officer at approximately 10:45 a.m. Inmate Alexandre kicked a door which struck the officer in the arm. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Inmate Alexandre will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
Okaloosa Correctional Institution: On November 20, inmate William Peters (P15372) assaulted an officer at approximately 10:57 a.m. Inmate Peters pushed the officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Inmate Peters will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
Florida State Prison West: On November 20, inmate Cristerfer Tollinchi (J44984) assaulted an officer at approximately 11:25 a.m. Inmate Tollinchi struck the officer in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Tollinchi will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
Reception and Medical Center: On November 21, inmate Kenneth Hodge (125483) assaulted an officer at approximately 11:01 a.m. Inmate Hodge attempted to pull the officer into a shower stall. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Hodge will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On November 23, inmate Felix Martinez (W26085) assaulted an officer at approximately 9:31 a.m. Inmate Martinez attempted to take the officer to the ground. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Martinez will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
Holmes Correctional Institution: On November 24, inmate Jeramaine Franklin (199507) assaulted an officer at approximately 11:45 p.m. Inmate Franklin grabbed the officer’s arm and attempted to pull them into a cell. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Franklin will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
Suwannee Correctional Institution: On November 24, inmate Isiah Elliott (N30733) assaulted multiple officers at approximately 2:54 p.m. Inmate Elliott became combative and kicked an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and while being subdued, inmate Elliott bit multiple officers on the hands and fingers. Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries. Inmate Elliott will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
Suwanee Correctional Institution: On November 24, inmate Anthony Ropas (C11518) assaulted an officer at approximately 6:25 a.m. Inmate Ropas resisted hand restraints and bit an officer on the arm. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Inmate Ropas will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On November 25, inmate Reginald Chatman (I41107) assaulted two officers at approximately 2:50 p.m. Inmate Chatman shoved the officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Inmate Chatman will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
Taylor Annex: On November 26, inmate Christian Johnson (V14311) assaulted multiple officers at approximately 3:00 p.m. Inmate Johnson struck, bit and scratched the officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries. Inmate Johnson will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
Martin Correctional Institution: On November 26, inmate Shaun Lopez (M59476) assaulted an officer at approximately 11:00 a.m. Inmate Lopez punched the officer in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Lopez will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
