FDC Assault Advisories | November 19 – December 2, 2019
This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.
Central Florida Reception Center: On November 19, Inmate Timothy Calloway (E17546) assaulted an officer by grabbing and shoving them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Lowell Annex: On November 20, Inmate Aunestee Roberts (K93699) assaulted an officer by pulling and twisting the officer’s finger. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries.
Central Florida Reception Center: On November 20, Inmate Oscar Gilbert (762553) assaulted an officer by shoving them to the ground. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Suwannee Correctional Institution: On November 20, Inmate Marvin Pace (B02617) assaulted an officer by striking them in the head. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Taylor Correctional Institution: On November 20, Inmate Javier Fernandez (439199) assaulted an officer by punching them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On November 21, Inmate Vincentaye Ivey (J50666) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Santa Rosa Annex: On November 24, Inmate Jeremy Ellis (D55400) assaulted an officer by striking the officer in the stomach with a mop. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Jefferson Correctional Institution: On November 26, Inmate Anthony Waters (124079) assaulted an officer by knocking them to the floor and attempting to gouge their eyes and bite them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries.
Wakulla Annex: On November 26, Inmate Denario Smith (C00015) assaulted an officer by headbutting them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Central Florida Reception Center: On November 27, Inmate Mikka Hennix (K70029) assaulted an officer by headbutting them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Jefferson Correctional Institution: On November 27, Inmate Anthony Waters (124079) assaulted an officer by knocking them to the floor, striking them in the eyes and biting them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Jefferson Correctional Institution: On November 28, Inmate Anthony Waters (124079) assaulted an officer by kicking them in the legs. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Lake Correctional Institution: On November 28, Inmate Marcos Roman (C07348) assaulted an officer by striking them in the shoulder. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On November 28, Inmate Joe Fernandez (P51276) assaulted an officer by kicking them in the groin. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Suwannee Correctional Institution: On November 29, Inmate Abdelaziz Hamze (L81379) assaulted an officer by punching them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Wakulla Annex: On November 29, Inmate Henry Sengaroun (C10476) assaulted an officer by striking them in the upper torso numerous times. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Columbia Annex: On December 1, Inmate Delroy Cole (B08406) assaulted an officer by headbutting them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On December 2, Inmate Charles Skolnick (D17650) assaulted an officer by striking them in the abdomen. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
