FDC Assault Advisories | May 22 – June 4, 2018
This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty.
BOWLING GREEN, Fla. – On May 22, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Hardee Correctional Institution.
Inmate Robert Valez (L34400) assaulted the officer at approximately 3:05 a.m. Inmate Valez scratched the officer’s hand. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Valez will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
MILTON, Fla. – On May 22, an inmate assaulted correctional officers at Santa Rosa Correctional Institution.
Inmate Ira Robinson-Wilcox (J53018) assaulted the officer at approximately 11:13 a.m. Inmate Robinson-Wilcox kicked the officer in the hip. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Inmate Robinson-Wilcox will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
OCALA, Fla. – On May 22, an inmate assaulted correctional officers at Lowell Annex.
Inmate Netgyne Morancy (K85793) assaulted the officers at approximately 12:40 p.m. Inmate Morancy kicked one officer in the face and another in the leg. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries. Inmate Morancy will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
MILTON, Fla. – On May 23, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Santa Rosa Correctional Institution.
Inmate Ulysses Tolbert (E36536) assaulted the officer at approximately 11:04 a.m. Inmate Tolbert scratched the officer’s arm. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Tolbert will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
OCALA, Fla. – On May 23, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Florida Women’s Reception Center.
Inmate Yvette Carpenter (Q33292) assaulted the officer at approximately 1:10 p.m. Inmate Carpenter kicked the officer’s legs. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Inmate Carpenter will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
DE FUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. – On May 23, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Walton Correctional Institution.
Inmate Richard Francis (T58262) assaulted the officer at approximately 10:55 p.m. Inmate Francis kicked the officer in the knee. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Francis will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
OCALA, Fla. – On May 23, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Lowell Annex.
Inmate Terra Olson (U32408) assaulted the officer at approximately 9:11 p.m. Inmate Olson kicked the officer in the leg. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Inmate Olson will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
LAKE CITY, Fla. – On May 24, an inmate assaulted correctional officers at Columbia Annex.
Inmate William Ford (G21219) assaulted the officers at approximately 3:05 p.m. Inmate London kicked one officer in the knee and another in the hand. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries. Inmate Ford will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
CLERMONT, Fla. – On May 24, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Lake Correctional Institution.
Inmate Alonzo Stafford (768062) assaulted the officer at approximately 5:45 p.m. Inmate Stafford struck the officer in the collarbone. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Stafford will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
ARCADIA, Fla. – On May 25, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Desoto Annex.
Inmate Selvin Vindel (P43917) assaulted the officer at approximately 10:20 p.m. Inmate Vindel head-butted the officer in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Inmate Vindel will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
MILTON, Fla. – On May 26, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Santa Rosa Annex.
Inmate Akeen Paul (J50386) assaulted the officer at approximately 10:36 p.m. Inmate Paul head-butted the officer in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Paul will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
RAIFORD, Fla. – On May 26, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Florida State Prison.
Inmate Alex Beasley (N26228) assaulted the officer at approximately 11:10 p.m. Inmate Beasley bit the officer’s hand. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Beasley will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
CRESTVIEW, Fla. – On May 27, an inmate assaulted correctional officers at Okaloosa Correctional Institution.
Inmate Nicolas Walker (J26757) assaulted the officers at approximately 10:30 p.m. Inmate Walker kicked one officer in the face and another in the head. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries. Inmate Walker will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
CRESTVIEW, Fla. – On May 30, an inmate assaulted correctional officers at Okaloosa Correctional Institution.
Inmate Deshawn Hurst (P58748) assaulted the officers at approximately 3:49 p.m. Inmate Hurst struck two officers in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Hurst will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
OKEECHOBEE, Fla. – On May 31, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Okeechobee Correctional Institution.
Inmate Miguel Tirado (J30917) assaulted the officer at approximately 11:38 a.m. Inmate Tirado head-butted the officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Inmate Tirado will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
MILTON, Fla. – On May 31, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Santa Rosa Correctional Institution.
Inmate Gerald Wilson (M50710) assaulted the officer at approximately 12:28 p.m. Inmate Wilson kicked the officer in the leg. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Inmate Wilson will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
CENTURY, Fla. – On May 31, an inmate assaulted correctional officers at Century Correctional Institution.
Inmate Andres Hernandez (L91168) assaulted the officers at approximately 11:15 p.m. Inmate Hernandez struck two officers in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries. Inmate Hernandez will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
MILTON, Fla. – On June 1, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Santa Rosa Correctional Institution.
Inmate Darryl Manning (B13866) assaulted the officer at approximately 7:15 p.m. Inmate Manning scratched the officer’s wrist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Manning will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
INDIANTOWN, Fla. – On June 2, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Martin Correctional Institution.
Inmate Kevin Yates (967785) assaulted the officer at approximately 5:45 p.m. Inmate Yates struck the officer in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Inmate Yates will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
RAIFORD, Fla. – On June 3, an inmate assaulted correctional officers at Florida State Prison.
Inmate Jamal Vass (B14084) assaulted the officers at approximately 7:30 a.m. Inmate Vass kicked one officer in the back and another in the arm. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Inmate Vass will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
SNEADS, Fla. – On June 3, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Apalachee Correctional Institution.
Inmate Domingo Jorrin (456453) assaulted the officer at approximately 12:42 p.m. Inmate Jorrin struck the officer in the abdomen. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Inmate Jorrin will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
