This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty.
PERRY, Fla. – On January 23, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Taylor Correctional Institution.
Inmate Leonard Capell (207146) assaulted the officer at approximately 1:20 p.m. Inmate Capell kicked the officer in the leg. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Inmate Capell will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
WEWAHITCHKA, Fla. – On January 23, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Gulf Correctional Institution.
Inmate Antonio Smith (W33125) assaulted the officer at approximately 6:20 p.m. Inmate Smith struck the officer in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Smith will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
OCALA, Fla. – On January 23, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Florida Women’s Reception Center.
Inmate Tania Rosado (E03956) assaulted the officer at approximately 7:44 p.m. Inmate Rosado struck the officer in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Rosado will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
LAKE BUTLER, Fla. – On January 24, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Reception and Medical Center.
Inmate John Clay (079740) assaulted the officer at approximately 2:55 p.m. Inmate Clay struck the officer in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

LIVE OAK, Fla. – On January 25, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Suwannee Correctional Institution.
Inmate Vondelvan Bozeman (B12759) assaulted the officer at approximately 7:20 p.m. Inmate Bozeman struck the officer in the arm and hand. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Bozeman will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
RAIFORD, Fla. – On January 27, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Florida State Prison.
Inmate Avery Hawthorne (H41307) assaulted the officer at approximately 9:44 p.m. Inmate Hawthorne kicked the officer in the leg. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

LIVE OAK, Fla. – On January 27, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Suwannee Correctional Institution.
Inmate Martin Fidler (124621) assaulted the officer at approximately 10:30 p.m. Inmate Fidler struck the officer in the head. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Inmate William Swint (T71271) assaulted the officers at approximately 11:38 p.m. Inmate Swint kicked both officers in the leg. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

LIVE OAK, Fla. – On January 28, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Suwannee Correctional Institution.
Inmate Keevon Lawson (C07778) assaulted the officer at approximately 10:24 a.m. Inmate Lawson kicked the officer in the hand. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

FLORIDA CITY, Fla. – On January 28, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Dade Correctional Institution.
Inmate Bryan Donahue (W109290) assaulted the officer at approximately 3:00 p.m. Inmate Donahue struck the officer in the shoulder. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

MIAMI, Fla. – On January 30, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Everglades Correctional Institution.
Inmate George Patterson (Y45213) assaulted the officer at approximately 6:20 a.m. Inmate Patterson kicked the officer in the leg. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

CRESTVIEW, Fla. – On January 30, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Okaloosa Correctional Institution.
Inmate Wilford Garner (K71959) assaulted the officer at approximately 7:51 p.m. Inmate Garner kicked the officer in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

RAIFORD, Fla. – On February 2, an inmate assaulted correctional officers at Florida State Prison.
Inmate Marlon Fleming (X30222) assaulted the officers at approximately 9:08 a.m. Inmate Fleming attacked the officers, stabbing on officer in in the hand with a homemade weapon. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

CARRABELLE, Fla. – On February 2, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Franklin Correctional Institution.
Inmate Darius Buckins (T77231) assaulted the officer at approximately 9:50 p.m. Inmate Buckins kicked the officer in the head. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

MAYO, Fla. – On February 3, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Mayo Correctional Institution.
Inmate Larry Saulsberry (966342) assaulted the officer at approximately 10:40 a.m. Inmate Saulsberry head-butted the officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

MADISON, Fla. – On February 6, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Madison Correctional Institution.
Inmate Eric Young (X43485) assaulted the officer at approximately 11:35 a.m. Inmate Young kicked the officer in the chest and arm. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Inmate Pedro Stval (197693) assaulted the officer at approximately 4:33 p.m. Inmate Stval kicked the officer in the leg. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Inmate Antonious Wilder (187653) assaulted the officer at approximately 7:50 p.m. Inmate Wilder struck the officer in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

MALONE, Fla. – On February 10, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Jackson Correctional Institution.
Inmate Marqus Mayo (E52731) assaulted the officer at approximately 1:08 a.m. Inmate Mayo struck the officer in the head. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

CHIPLEY, Fla. – On February 10, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Northwest Florida Reception Center.
Inmate Kendell Campbell (J59331) assaulted the officer at approximately 3:40 a.m. Inmate Campbell struck the officer in the face multiple times. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

CLERMONT, Fla. – On February 10, an inmate assaulted a correctional officer at Lake Correctional Institution.
Inmate Antonio Adams (U08976) assaulted the officer at approximately 11:32 a.m. Inmate Adams struck the officer in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
