Deandre Brown, (28, Riviera Beach) WINS $500,000 PLAYING THE $500,000 CROSSWORD EXTRA PLAY SCRATCH-OFF GAME

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Lottery announces that Deandre Brown, 28, of Riviera Beach, claimed a $500,000 top prize from the $500,000 CROSSWORD EXTRA PLAY Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He purchased his winning ticket from Stop Shop Save & Go, located at 3343 Broadway Avenue in Riviera Beach.

The $5 game, $500,000 CROSSWORD EXTRA PLAY, launched in April 2019 and features over $69.4 million in prizes including eight top prizes of $500,000. The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-4.06.

Scratch-Offs are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, generating more than $871 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in FY 2017-18, and comprising approximately 69 percent of ticket sales.
