Correctional Officer Arrested Following OIG Investigation

JASPER, Fla. – The Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) Office of Inspector General (OIG) criminally charged former Correctional Officer Ray Cone yesterday following an OIG criminal investigation. Cone has been charged with unlawful compensation.

Following the arrest, Cone was transported to the Hamilton County Jail. The Florida Department of Corrections Office of Inspector General acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and the State Attorney’s Office in the 3rd Judicial Circuit.
