$10 million Georgia Lottery ticket sold in Thomasville

ATLANTA – A winning ticket worth $10 million from the Georgia Lottery’s The New Super Max the Money scratcher was sold in Thomasville.

The winning ticket was purchased at Susie Q’s Food Mart, located at 4616 County Line Road.

The winner claimed the prize Monday.

The New Super Max the Money scratcher offers players chances to win top prizes of $10 million, second-level prizes of $200,000, third-level prizes of $50,000 and many other great prizes.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $21.9 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.9 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.6 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
